What if the product I want is not on the site?

I looked at a product a few days ago, when I went back in to double check the price had increased. Why has this happened?
All of our price information is displayed in real time, therefore whenever there is a price change the new information is immediately reflected to our website.

If I want to buy something from BCH Supplies over the web site, is my credit card number safe from hackers?
During and after the checkout process your credit card details are encrypted, we have a detailed security policy in place to ensure that your data is safe. All transactions are conducted on our secure server.

How secure is buying over the web?
If we look at the security issue first, when you type your credit/switch card number into our site, our web site is in secure mode. This means that the information you type in will be encoded and our server decodes it. This means that anyone "listening" to traffic en route will be able to make no sense of the number. Our system the "Secure Socket Layer" works, every trading web company uses it

Secondly if you are a UK resident using a UK issued card for a transaction over £100 you are automatically protected by Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.

Once you have my email address will you send any unsolicited mail?
Abosolutely not unless of course you ask for it also we will not pass it on to any other companies.

How can I pay for my order?
You can pay for your purchase by cheque or postal order, all major credit card and bank or Bacs transfer. We only accept payment by Credit Card if the card is registered in the UK and we are delivering to the same UK address.

Can you ship my order to my work address?
A. Usually we have to ship to your credit card billing address, i.e. the address that your bank has you registered at. However providing you can send us the relevant information that can be confimed, then we can make arrangements to send to your work address.

I need to find out more information about a product, what do you suggest?
If you cannot find the relevant information on our site then we advise you to visit the manufacturers site to obtain more detailed information. Alternatively please call our team 01189 406882

If no one is home when the couriers try and deliver my order, then what happens to it?
If no one is home to accept your order then you will be left a calling card and the goods will be returned to your local depot. You may contact the couriers to arrange a suitable redelivery date, or alternatively it may be possible to pick up the order from your local depot. (Please confirm this with the courier first) Proof of ID will be required on request.

If I place an order and something is out of stock what happens?
We will notify you that he products are not in stock and advise the lead time.

What happens if I am unable to check the contents of my goods at point of delivery?
If you are unable to check the contents of the package at time of delivery please sign for the goods as "UNCHECKED". Failure to do so may affect any warranty claims that you make thereafter.

What happens if my order is dispatched and I cannot take receipt of it, for reasons beyond my control?
The couriers will hold the goods for up to five days before returning the goods back to us. If you are able to contact either BCH Supplies or the couriers, arrangements can be made, for the order to be held at your local depot until you are available to collect.

What happens if the courier confirms that they have lost my parcel?
This must be reported to us straight away. We can then take this matter up with the Couriers.

Do the goods you supply include warranty?
Most products come with a 12 month warranty, plesae refer to these or feel free to contact us on 0118 940 6882.
